Traditional Path

The Traditional Path at East Middle School provides a comprehensive 8th-grade experience with core courses alongside a variety of elective classes. This balanced approach allows students to earn up to 5 high school credits before entering 9th grade. The Traditional Path supports students in building a strong academic foundation while exploring their interests, helping them flourish and confidently step into high school ahead of the curve.

Students following the Traditional Path take the following courses:

• PE/Health
• Elective Class(es)*
