Riebeil Petty is an English Language Arts educator with 11 years of teaching experience across multiple levels. He has served as an adjunct faculty instructor at Harris‑Stowe State University, teaching Freshman Seminar, Seminar in Higher Learning, and Basic Writing. While completing his Missouri teaching certificate for grades 5–9 in Language Arts, he taught in the St. Louis Public Schools for over six years at Langston Middle School and Carr Lane Visual & Performing Arts Middle School.

Mr. Petty is a member of Omicron Delta Kappa International Honor Society. He is passionate about equipping students with strategies to improve reading comprehension and writing, and about developing independent, critical thinkers. He has coached middle school girls’ basketball and serves as an assistant coach for East High’s JV boys basketball team.
