Ms. O'Neal is a proud graduate of Hazelwood East High School, born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She earned a volleyball scholarship to compete at both Jefferson College and the University of Central Arkansas, where she developed not only as an athlete, but as a leader. She later graduated with a degree in Business Administration, bringing strong organizational and leadership skills into her professional career.

Currently, Candice serves as a volleyball coach at Hazelwood East and continues to increase access to quality athletic opportunities that focuses on leveling the playing field for the community. Her passion lies in mentorship, accountability, and helping students grow both on and off the court.

This year marks her first year as an ISS Supervisor at Hazelwood East Middle School, where she is committed to building positive relationships, reinforcing high expectations, and supporting student success through structure, consistency, and care.
