Ms. McCrary teaches eighth‑grade mathematics. She joined the Hazelwood School District in 2007 after seven years with the Saint Louis Public Schools.

Born and raised in Saint Louis and educated in the Saint Louis Public Schools, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from Washington University in Saint Louis and a Master of Arts in Human Resources Development from Webster University. She completed teacher certification coursework through an alternative certification program at the University of Missouri–Saint Louis and is certified in Grades 5–9 Mathematics in Missouri.

She presents math concepts in real‑world contexts, highlights careers that use those concepts, and demonstrates how math extends beyond the classroom. She is passionate about showing students how math is used every day.

She has two adult daughters, four granddaughters, and a Yorkie Poo puppy. In her spare time she enjoys baking and decorating cakes, brownies, and cookies, playing online word games, and collecting Mickey Mouse memorabilia and various coins and currency.
