Matt Hieke earned his undergraduate degree in History and Political Science from Culver‑Stockton College and a Master of Arts in Teaching Social Studies from Webster University. He has spent 18 years teaching in the Hazelwood School District, where he developed curricula, mentored students, and supported schoolwide initiatives to deepen civic understanding and historical literacy.
